What is the Summer Scholars Program?

The Summer Scholars Program is a week-long summer experience for high-achieving high school students who will be juniors or seniors the following fall. A total of 22 academic modules are offered in a pair of sessions.

The modules range from topics such as game design and neuroscience to fashion design and data science.

How does it work?

Students stay on campus in an assigned residence hall under the guidance of Miami University student staff counselors. Classes take place daily with morning and afternoon sessions.

As part of a whole-group project, students discuss the merits of potential college enrollees to determine which ones should be admitted.
