Where is the Snow?

Oxford is in the midst of a snowfall "donut hole" so far this winter. If you miss it, take a look at some of our favorite snow scenes.

Snow Drought

January 28: Our region (Oxford and greater Cincinnati) is in the midst of a snowfall "Donut hole," according to the National Weather Service. The area is in somewhat of a snow drought this winter, with more snow falling in all other directions but mostly missing the area. We know that a lot of the Miami community (and alumni) enjoy the beauty of snow on the Oxford campus, so our Miami University photographers selected some of their favorite winter photos from past to share. Enjoy the snow images and prepare for the "donut hole" to fill in with snow.

An army of essential workers: Miami's dedicated employees work hard to keep Miami safe when it snows

Miami's Oxford campus has 38 miles of sidewalks, nine miles of main roads and about 70 acres of parking lots. When it snows, Miami’s essential staff keep the Miami community safe and those sidewalks clear.
